The Gisolfi Legacy: Its Impact on Past, Present, and Future Studies of Thermoregulation and Exercise features a summary overview of several of the seminal studies of Carl Gisolfi, an internationally renowned exercise physiologist and a past-president of the American College of Sports Medicine. The DVD reviews Gisolfi's innovative research in a number of areas, including thermoregulation during exercise; fluid regulation; the GI system and exercise; and thermotolerance and cellular responses to heat/exercise. The DVD also speculates on what research Gisolfi would currently be working on (he died unexpectedly in June 2000, after a prolonged illness).
