Since 2006, the American Camp Association has been implementing the Healthy Camp Study, a five-year surveillance project of camp injuries and illnesses. Take Your Camp's Health Preparedness Pulse highlights strategies that camps have used to make organizational changes to improve camp health and safety for children and staff in the areas of policies and procedures, camper and staff orientation, activity scheduling, and other areas. The DVD utilizes camp scenarios to guide the discussion. The DVD also reviews the camp community's response to H1N1.
