Ethics education is an often daunting entity that is poorly understood by many faculty members, including athletic training faculty. Although perceived as an individual course in which ethics content is taught, ethics education should be viewed as an integral part of every curriculum. In fact, ethics education has several objectives, including preparing students to identify ethical issues, developing moral reasoning and decision-making skills, improving implementation of ethically rooted decisions, developing moral character, and establishing professional integrity and clinical reasoning. Involving Ethics Education Throughout the Curriculum: The Key to Professional Evolution of the Millennial Student reviews innovative pedagogical activities that are designed to help demonstrate how ethics education can be infused throughout the athletic training education program to facilitate strong personal, professional, and organizational awareness. The DVD explains why ethics education should provide the foundation for professional practice that can be employed to help individuals in an athletic training curriculum to find their moral compass that will guide their professional behaviors.
