Children-Health and Exercise, Screening, Early Specialization, and Sport discusses the all-too-common situation in which the development of the youth athlete is a multi-factorial, dynamic, and relatively long process. More often than not, in the United States, the training of youth in sport involves a process in which child athletes start as youth and subsequently grow to peak performance. The DVD examines whether early success is prerequisite for later success for young athletes. The DVD also looks at the effects that early specialization of young athletes has on them at old age.
