In June 2012, state leaders from Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska met at the Lied Center in Nebraska City in an effort to identify key strategies and priorities related to the assessment and evaluation of environmental literacy of k-12. Building Capacity for Environmental Education: A Report on Four States' Environmental Literacy Plans provides an overview of information learning at this meeting. The DVD also discusses the possibilities to promote environmental literacy in the both the camp experience and a k-12 educational setting.
